How to Repay Your Zamloan Loan

Repaying your Zamloan loan is quick and convenient using mobile money. You can settle your balance directly from your phone using Airtel Money, MTN Mobile Money, or Zamtel Kwacha.

Method 1: Repay via Airtel Money

  1. Dial *115# on your Airtel line.
  2. Select Option 4 (Make Payment).
  3. Select Option 6 (Goods & Services).
  4. Enter Merchant Code: 1
  5. Enter Business Name: ZamLoan
  6. Enter Reference: Your NRC number (without slashes, e.g., 123456789).
  7. Enter Repayment Amount: The amount you wish to pay.
  8. Enter your Airtel Money PIN to authorize the transaction.

Note: Airtel charges standard mobile money transaction fees. The exact fee will be displayed on your screen before you confirm the transaction.

Method 2: Repay via MTN Mobile Money

  1. Dial *115# on your MTN line.
  2. Select Option 3 (Payments).
  3. Select Option 00 (Next).
  4. Select Option 1 (Retail payment).
  5. Enter Merchant Code: Zamloan
  6. Enter your Repayment Amount.
  7. Enter Reference: Your NRC number (without slashes).
  8. Enter your MTN Mobile Money PIN to complete the payment.

Note: MTN charges standard transaction fees. The total fee will be shown on your screen prior to PIN entry.

Method 3: Repay via Zamtel Kwacha

  1. Dial *115# on your Zamtel line.
  2. Select Option 4 (Make Payment).
  3. Select Option 3 (Zamloan Repayment).
  4. Enter your NRC number (without slashes).
  5. Enter your Repayment Amount.
  6. Review and confirm the repayment amount and handling fees.
  7. Enter your Zamtel PIN to approve the transfer.

Note: Zamtel charges standard transaction fees. The exact breakdown will be displayed before final confirmation.

Important Tips for Successful Repayment

  • NRC Format: Always enter your NRC without forward slashes (e.g., 123456111 instead of 123456/11/1) so the automated system can instantly match the payment to your account.
  • Keep Confirmation SMS: Save the mobile money transaction confirmation SMS for your records in case you need proof of payment.
